Melissa Renn is currently the Research Associate in the Department of American Art at the Harvard Art Museum. She received her BA from Stanford University and MA in Art History from Boston University. She is currently a PhD candidate in Art History at Boston University, where she is completing her dissertation on Life magazine and the role it played in the art world from 1936 to 1972, and in which she discusses Edward Steichen's The Family of Man exhibition. Like Fiorenza, she loves to travel and she took five forms of transportation to get this picture taken of her in the mountains of Taos, New Mexico this past fall.
