Award winning Slovenian photographer, Janez Vlachy, born in 1954, has exhibited his black and white and color fine art photography, at home and abroad, since 1988. He studied economics formally but began to teach himself photography at age 28. He chooses to work with vintage cameras and has also worked with Polaroid film and equipment. His beautifully toned and printed work appears in numerous domestic and international publications and reflects the cultural tradition of his Eastern European homeland. He is represented by Tepper Takayama Fine Arts.
