He graduated from the Department of Photography, Technological Educational Institute (T.E.I.) of Athens. He specialized in Photodensitometry, at Morsel, Belgium and at Rochester, USA. Coming back to Greece, he taught photography at the private institutes for vocational training "Stavrakos" and "Petra", at the school "Papantonopoulou" and at the public institute for vocational training in Chaidari. The last 11 years, he teaches only at the private institute for vocational training "Leica Academy".
