He was born in 1961, in Athens. He studied cinematography, photography and television and graduated (excellently) in 1983 from STAVRAKOS school.
In 1984 and 1985 he teaches photography at N.E.L.E. in Attica. Until 1989 he works in private TV studios as an operator and director of photography. Since 1989 he has worked as director of Photography at the greek state tv (ERT). Since February 1995 he has taught at Institutes of Vocational Training in East Attica, in departments of cameramens, directors, tv production. His work has been published in photography magazines.
