Born in 1965 in Geneva, Switzerland, Philippe Rahmy studied History of Arts and Egyptology in Paris and graduated at the University of Lausanne in Literature and Philosophy. He is a founding member of the French literary site remue.net and published poetry and prose in France. His photographic work and videos question the idea of difference and norm, and is focused on the human body.
